Teaches a lot for a few bucks!

This is really helpful, it helps me a lot now I dont have to ask my parents what my grandma is saying to me

This has been a great resource for a palagi trying to learn gagana Samoa. The only suggestions I have would be to try and create subsections for the word lists since their are so many variations in Samoan, and expand the vocabulary section. I still struggle with understanding how words that translate to "of" and "the" for example, change based on the context. But I love this app. Its been the best Ive found so far. Okay, I still find the app helpful. But I found a problem. For example, the translation for "musuia " according to the app is "to be doomed to be killed or otherwise punished." However, I was talking to a an friend of mine who says that it actually means to inspire, or is related to inspiration. 3. (9/27/15) - should probably add "Youre welcome." Its as basic in any language as "Thank you."

Faafetai !!! I really love this app my husband is Samoan and he was surprised how much I have learned. My friends in Samoa were also surprised how many words that I now know and how much I was able to understand :) can someone now add Samoan on the new language app that google has out ?

The app is okay on the dictionary but, 1. Already paying for the app should be enough 2. You have to pay an extra $4.99 for the travel phrases 3. You have to pay an extra $6.99 for the conversations Terrible way to do your app. I get its a lot of work to get these phrases and conversations in but seriously?? Paying an extra $12.00 for these is asking for too much.

Im a terrible out of place Samoan boy. I understand the language but cant speak it....lol.... Oka.... So happy theres an app. Now I can speak to my grandma more and understand her better. Faafetai!!
